I am inclined to think all this SSL stuff is BS for websites that are not selling anything. It is just another thing to raise the bar for entry for independent webmasters. But realistically you have to have it because Google’s Chome will make your site look like it’s dangerous.

All this iPhone talk really makes it hit home: we have no choices. It’s either Android loaded with Google spyware and dodgy privacy or Apple “do it our way and stay in our walled garden” iOS. We need more choices. #bringbackwebOS
