So everybody, including me, has their pitchforks and torches out for Facebook. Now some tech experts are saying Twitter might be next to come under investigation. Gah!
What social networks are left? There is old Plurk. I hear about Mastodon but it sounds like you have to have your own server. The new hipster networks like Vero and Raftr want to be cell phone only. That doesn’t really work for me.
So let’s say I stick with FB and Twitter but continue to post to them almost exclusively through Microblog, what privacy advantages do I gain?

The web app works just fine with a nice simple interface. Micro.blog can cross post to Twtter (activated) and/or Facebook. Now the question is, Do I really want to also post to Facebook?
