This question has been on my mind for a long time since students from the Parkland school shooting started traveling all over the country making appearances. Who is footing the bill for all this travel?
Travel is expensive after all and these are publicity appearances when you come right down to it. Is it the students’ themselves, parents, local fund raising or an outside third party? Not that I mind but, full disclosure is important, especially if it is an outside third party.
Let me be clear, those students have a right to free speech and they are doing nothing wrong and they should not be interfered with, but the old adage of “follow the money” still applies. Just saying.
