It might be my imagination, but it seems like Facebook is sending me more notifications when friends post. I wonder if their algo has picked up that I don’t check in very much or if they have a general dropoff in viewers and are flushing people out?

Ongoing problem with Macbook being finicky about charging is a pain. It didn’t charge last night. Probably a $100 charger unit. I need one dependable machine.
Still working with support on ticket for Linux laptop. We are sudo-ing our head off in between store run, lawn mowing, eating. Meanwhile, I ordered a Windows 10 laptop. This should be interesting the last ver. of Win. I truely used was WindowsME which turned me into a Mac user.

I’ll try it when it does, but I have the Classic Editor plugin installed just in case. I guess it’s supposed to make posts look more Squarespace like. Pffft.
Also on Mastodon.social I like that bots are identified as such. I had a polite bot stop by and let me know it was following me and how to block it if I wanted. That bot was from a new Mastodon instance that needed some filler posts for it’s local timeline. Kinda nice.
On Mastodon.social “Tech News Bot” is pretty darn good. If you are new there and looking for something to fill your feed it’s a nice overview of tech news. You can unfolllow the bots as you find more people to follow.
