@pratik True on the start dates. Asking is just a figure of speech. Beating somebody in the primary with the issue being too old is a way for voters to "ask" that a candidate move aside. It doesn't all have to happen at once and shouldn't happen all at once. There is a big difference between 65 yrs old and 85 years old.
