My favorite part of watching (old) TV shows is when the hero just drives up and finds a parking spot right in front of their destination. Just pull up and park. Not like me circling around and finding one 4 blocks away.

Supper tonight will include a side salad. That’s the only thing I know for sure. I’m not even sure what salad dressing (I only have 3) I’ll put on it. Now I have to figure out the rest of the meal. This stuff never happens in the movies.

Maybe it’s my web browser. Maybe it’s XTwitter slowly breaking down. It seems I can no longer follow anyone there. Also, my notification count never seems to disappear - ever. And my notification count keeps rising but when I check them there is no new notification there. Kinda weird.

Trump encouraging Russia’s Putin to attack NATO allies, for any reason, is irresponsible and completely unacceptable. No amount of spin, rationalization, or walking back comments can make it better.

You don’t encourage the neighborhood bully to beat up on your friends.

I’m not sure what is going on in Trump’s head but it sure is not the best interests of the USA. There is something deeply wrong with this man. Whatever happened to the virtues of loyalty, trust, honor and standing by by our nation’s promises? I don’t trust Trump to do the right things. Ever.

Self censorship:

Silence like a cancer grows. - Paul Simon

We can speak out. It’s not without risk, people might be offended, people might attempt to bully us. But we are adult men and women, we can take it.

Calm, polite, thoughtful, reasoned writing will be our sword and spear. Truthfulness will be our armor and shield.

You see, the bad guys fear our words. That is why they mock, bully and censor. It’s why they burn books. They are terrified of us.

Yesterday, I encountered The Mother of all Captchas. I can’t describe it, but I had to take off my glasses, get my eyeball about 3 inches from the screen, shut one eye, squint, sacrifice a chicken on top of an old CRT monitor, dry it’s entrails, burn said entrails and get high on the smoke, before I could see what the heck the Captcha images were.

The captcha was guarding a form. I don’t blame the webmaster for placing it there because I’ve had forms overrun by robots myself. I do blame the spammers that run robot networks that do nothing but spam forms. This shit is killing the Web.

(Please, for the love of Bob, DO wear trousers or a skirt in public.) This is now the Mao Suit of the West.
