We need OEM phones running Sailfish OS and ubuntu-touch.io . If it works this puri.sm/shop/libr… will be a good effort. But right now all the OEM phone manufacturers are worried about retribution from Google.
All this iPhone talk really makes it hit home: we have no choices. It’s either Android loaded with Google spyware and dodgy privacy or Apple “do it our way and stay in our walled garden” iOS. We need more choices. #bringbackwebOS
I guess new iPhones are being announced today. I hope some of them have a fingerprint scanner at least. Faceprint only is a non-starter for me.
