I was rather proud of my neighborhood POA (HOA) at the meeting tonight. Unprompted the board announced they were organizing volunteers to grocery shop for neighbors who have to self-isolate due to the coronavirus. They are planning ahead. POA’s get a lot of guff on social networks, but mine has always come through for neighbors in a time of crisis.

This is weird from just reading the news: in the US the private sector seems to be doing more to try to contain the spread of coronavirus by cancelling events, flights, travel, warnings and work from home restrictions, than the government. It’s very fragmented but it’s there.
Pantry full. Freezer full. I just got done sorting excess canned goods into boxes and I’m having trouble finding room for the boxes. I think I’ll stop buying food for awhile. Especially canned goods.
