Wow, YouTube has become almost unusable. There is so much misleading, clickbait content, misleading thumbnails and Automatically generated content, either by AI or other means. Photographs of the wrong person, errors of fact. All this and even more ads.
Because of the 4th of July holiday, I will be eating fancier foods than normal (not a big leap). Instead of cold cereal for breakfast, I plan to have breakfast burritos smothered in refried beans. Supper is yet to be determined, stay tuned for breaking updates. No hotdogs tho.

I’m experimenting with the RSS feed reader built into Vivaldi browser. It’s basic but it works. Most of the ...Any recommendations for a good RSS feed reader for Linux? I have QuiteRSS which I barely used, but now their website has gone down which is not a good sign.
Getting RSS sorted is on my list of things to do Real Soon Now.

Once again, it’s Frozen Pizza Friday. But now with an added tossed side salad coz healthy, and I got to use this lettuce stuff up before it goes bad because there are children starving in Europe.
If I were to do a cooking blog it would be about cooking with canned goods and combining canned goods with premade frozen foods. (There’s a lot you can do to doctor up frozen burritos.) In short I don’t think I could call it a recipe blog but more of a bachelors guide to heating stuff up or the fusion of frozen and canned convenience foods.

I follow an account on Xtwitter that I really enjoy only I don’t know how long either they or I will be able to stay on XTwitter or even if XTwitter will survive. The thought of losing those posts made me sad. Fortunately, the account @hookland.bsky.social has started syndicating to Blue Sky.

Pre-Pandemic, I used to be able to buy hard boiled eggs in a sealed pouch at the grocery store. Somewhere along the line they disappeared from all the different stores I shop at. Is this the ubiquitous supply chain issues three years on, lack of demand or a darker conspiracy like secret egg tunnels? Has anyone else noticed this disappearance?

I had heard there is a pickle shortage in the US on the radio. I only remembered that when I looked at a jar of Aldi pickles and saw they were a product of India. So I looked it up: National pickle shortage tied to extreme weather in Mexico | Yahoo News I had no idea. This has apparently not caused any great panic outside of pickle insider circles.
Thankfully, India has stepped up to keep us supplied.
