It’s interesting watching different timelines on each social network wake-up and start getting busy in different time zones.
I’m easily entertained.
Self censorship:
Silence like a cancer grows. - Paul Simon
We can speak out. It’s not without risk, people might be offended, people might attempt to bully us. But we are adult men and women, we can take it.
Calm, polite, thoughtful, reasoned writing will be our sword and spear. Truthfulness will be our armor and shield.
You see, the bad guys fear our words. That is why they mock, bully and censor. It’s why they burn books. They are terrified of us.
Yesterday, I encountered The Mother of all Captchas. I can’t describe it, but I had to take off my glasses, get my eyeball about 3 inches from the screen, shut one eye, squint, sacrifice a chicken on top of an old CRT monitor, dry it’s entrails, burn said entrails and get high on the smoke, before I could see what the heck the Captcha images were.
The captcha was guarding a form. I don’t blame the webmaster for placing it there because I’ve had forms overrun by robots myself. I do blame the spammers that run robot networks that do nothing but spam forms. This shit is killing the Web.
Does anyone know of a list of blogging platforms that support having comments?
Two spaces after a period and before the next sentence. I make my stand upon this hill.
RCA, Zenith, General Electric, Magnavox, Philco, Admiral, Emerson, Sylvania, and Panasonic, Sony, Sharp.

And the furnace quit and it’s winter. Also, middle of the night. Grumble, grumble, grumble.
According to the adverts on XTwitter: everyday clothing in The Western World is now a T-shirt with either a corporate, sports, band logo or some pithy saying and trousers of some sort. (Please, for the love of Bob, DO wear trousers or a skirt in public.) This is now the Mao Suit of the West.
I just followed the #mojeek hashtag on Mastodon so I could can see what users are saying.
So over on XElon, lots of women are suddenly following me. Funny, I never had that happen in real life.

I sometimes wonder, if the circumstances were right, would Microsoft get back into the smartphone operating system market again?
It seems wrong that for most of the world we only have two smartphone OS’s: Android and iOS.
I there a way to turn off all posting from your Micro.blog blog to the MB social timeline?
Looks in refrigerator - supper will somehow include hot dogs.
I thought things would never get weirder than the late 1960’s and most of the 1970’s. I was wrong.
“Federalism is the best curb on democracy. [It] assigns limited powers to the central government. Thereby all power is limited. It excludes absolute power of the majority.”
Due to popular demand - Me - Frozen Pizza Friday will, once again, be observed today. That is all.
This does not surprise me. It confirms what I already suspected.
Half of recent US inflation due to high corporate profits, report finds
On one of my social timelines a guy regularly posts old automobile ads which I enjoy a lot. Strange thing is, I’m actually starting to miss AMC (American Motors Corporation.)
I just heard Apple Vision Pro starts at US $3,500. I got this bridge, in Brooklyn, that I can sell you for such a deal.
I just stocked up on food essentials - again. Snow tonight, maybe. Snow tomorrow with high winds, maybe. 4 inches tonight, 4 inches tomorrow, could be more, could be less, could be none, maybe. Despite all the maybes having enough food supplies is the only civilized thing to do. :-)
My current problem with writing long form blog posts is fear of repeating myself. If I don’t have enough new things to say on a subject there is no sense in yammering on and on about it.
The problem with being stuck indoors for days on end by the weather is that one starts wanting to blog and other mischief.
Can you dine in a restaurant while wearing Apple Vision Pro and not get soup and everything else down the front of your shirt?
Although it can’t replace search engines, there is a case here for human curated search directories and blogrolls. Also a case for more search engines with their own index.
