If I were a European country, I’d be seriously considering cancelling any order for American F-35 fighter jets which cannot be operated independently. I’d be looking at the Swedish Gripen fighter which is extremely capable and a heck of a lot cheaper. My 2 cents.

Frankly the same holds true for many American weapons systems, if there is a European equivalent I’d be buying that instead. Or maybe something from South Korea.
