It’s too early to tell, but the big American oil companies don’t seem very enthusiastic to pump billions of their own dollars into rebuilding Venezuela’s oil industry just on Trump’s whim. Trump’s whims change hourly depending on which crazy he last talked to.
Lots of speculation online about that (now) Russian flagged tanker the US has been pursuing for a week or more. Speculation is there is something or someone onboard that Russian ship, which was headed to Venezuela, that Russia did not want us to find. We boarded it now so stay tuned.

Seen and Heard: Dissolving NATO if US invades Greenland is not a threat that works on Trump, because getting the US out of NATO is exactly what Trump wants.

Trump seems to be spending lots of tax money and we aren’t getting anything in return. Playing emperor and invading foreign countries is the sexy part but you still have to do the boring stuff like fixing potholes, providing clean water and keeping the lights on.
I’m not a follower of conspiracy theories but I’m having trouble believing Epstein hung himself in jail. There are just too many coincidences: staff not around, staff not checking on him per SOP, camera problems, that 1 to 3 minute video gap and stories keep changing.
Not that anyone is listening to me, but for me, there is a bright red line on any US invasion of Greenland. This includes other acts like blockade or sanctions or asymmetric warfare, etc. Any of these acts by Trump would be grounds for his immediate removal from office by legal means.

One problem (of many) that Trump’s threats against Greenland causes is that it makes it very hard for the US to help Greenland if there ever is a real threat to it from Russia. From now on we will look like colonial invaders in the eyes of Greenlanders long after Trump is gone.
