Thoughts on house floor plans: I don’t like open plan floor plans. When you have individual, distinct, rooms it allows you to make a dramatic entrance at each room empty or not. (BTW cats instinctively understand this.) Old Hollywood understood this. With open plan, meh, no drama, no entrance.
