Site Search Placement Experiment.

I’ve started an experiment with my Micro.blog hosted blog with site search. Previously, I had a site search form at the bottom of all pages. It would get used only occasionally. So now I’ve added a second site search form at the top center of all pages just under the navigation menu.

I want to see if there is any increase in site search usage, plus I’d like people to dig deeper into the blog. Site search is provided by DuckDuckGo

I’m not happy with the way the search form sits on the page. There should be some space between the nav menu and it. But I hit the limits of my HTML knowledge which ended in HTML 3.XX and nothing I’ve tried works. At least I didn’t break anything. I think.
