I’ve been streaming the French murder mystery series “Murder In…” each episode is set in a lesser known but beautiful part of France (to gin up tourist interest.) The mysteries range from competent to so-so, but the subtitles are well done, the scenary excellent and the women, by and large attractive (this is French TV after all).
What gets me, is both the protagonists and the antagonists, all seem to find parking spaces effortlessly. They just pull up their car in the middle of a pictureque square and park whereever they please! No hunting for a space, no circling around the block, no manuvering to parallel park, no line of honking cars behind you. In short: a fantasy paradise!
