There is a problem. Alive or dead, media attention is one of several key elements these shooters seek. It may not be the only thing but it is part of the puzzle. Just look at how many kids threaten school violence after a school shooting. Most are just blustering (or stupid) or seeking attention, but there is always that certain percentage that will try and act on it.
I think the media needs to restrain itself and if they can’t, be restrained. If you can put limits on the Second Amendment, you can also put limits on the First Amendment.
