Hmm. The Reality Distortion Field has kicked in from an unexpected source: NPR. I just heard a NPR news cast about the Trump vs. Zelensky incident. NPR made it sound not nearly as serious as it was. It was an argument, a disagreement and no mention about Trump telling Zelensky to leave. All the rough edges had been polished off. And this from NPR.
I’m seeing a lot of articles saying that Trump and Vance knowingly ambushed Zelensky on purpose to either get him to give in or as an excuse for Trump to back out of any support. What do you think? Is that likely?

Zelensky more than held his own against the two of them. He’s been through 3 years of hell, he’s seen the bodies of civilians gunned down by Russians for sport. Trump and Vance are pampered little yippie purse dogs by comparison. I just regret Zelensky had to go through that.
But it’s better he does not sign anything - anything with Trump right now.

That treatment of Zelensky by Trump and Vance was disgraceful bullying. But it was important for Zelensky and world leaders, especially in Europe, to see how much Trump is in Putin’s pocket. Important for Americans to see it too. Zelensky held his own. I hope he doesn’t sign.

If somebody published a good new compact print encyclopedia, about 10 - 12 volumes and about the size of a standard hardcover book, I’d buy a set. Handy for offline. I’ve seen these in my youth but they were never as popular as World Book or Britannica, nor were they anywhere as huge size wise.
I have this instant negative reaction to anything on Medium. To a lesser degree I also have some negativity to Substack. Not sure why on the later.
